Ametrine is found in Bolivia, it is a bi-colour quartz of both Amethyst and Citrine. Legend has it Amethyst will keep the wearer clear-headed and quick witted in battle and in business affairs. Citrine gemstones are transparent, the name comes from the French word for lemon. Citrine is the birthstone for November and it also commemorates the thirtieth anniversary.
Our 5.6ct pear cut Ametrine is a beautiful gemstone with purple and subtle orange hues. The stone is cut into a pear or teardrop shape, this beautiful stone surrounded by a halo of 0.63ct of white diamonds. These pieces were design in house and handmade in 2000. We worked with a talented Goldsmith in London, selected the stones and diamonds.
