Be still my heart.  Quite possibly one of Blair's absolute favourite pieces, this design was an absolute labour of love.  Inspired by old world Eastern Europe, this beautiful headpiece is layers upon layers of hand work.  A 1" wide padded headband is hand wrapped with Mokuba grosgrain ribbon. At the back of the headband is a tall crown of lace that is hand cut and stitched together to create a beautiful soft scalloped edge. The lace edge is reinforced with a silk ribbon wrapped wire frame.  The lace is hand beaded with hundreds of tiny crystals and glass beads as well as glass pearls.  The padded headband itself is embellished with vines of alencon lace and flowers all handbeaded with crystals, pearls and seed beads.  Wired sprigs of glass pearls are stitched among the lace and small porcelain clay flowers are embelllished throughout.  This headdress looks stunning stacked with a few headbands (as shown stacked with our ELYSHA & and headbands). Truly a statement piece. ♥

• 1" plastic headband padded with foam.
• Headband ribbon wrapped with grosgrain ribbon
• Hand cut and stitched alencon lace stitched in a scalloped pattern at back of headband.
• Scalloped lace is reinforced with silk wrapped wire frame stitched to back of lace.
• Scalloped lace is hand beaded with clear crystal beads, glass seed beads and glass pearls in various styles
• Headband is embellished with vines of Alencon lace & lace flowers, beaded with glass pearls, seed beads and crystal beads
• Sprigs of glass oval pearls on wires
• Hand stitched clay porcelain flowers with pearl centres
